Get to know me
My journey with dance began in 1987 under the Miami sun, but it truly came to life at the age of seven on a local temple stage. What started as a childhood hobby in Bharatanatyam quickly transformed into my sanctuary—an outlet for stress and my primary language for self-expression.
After graduating in Bharatanatyam in 2003, my path took me through every rhythm imaginable. From leading high school dance teams to competing on the Bhangra and Raas stages for Nova Southeastern University, I’ve always believed that dance is a universal celebration. A true 'fairytale' moment in my career was in 2012, when I had the honor of performing at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom as an Indian Princess, sharing the joy of Bhangra and Bollywood with the world.
My thirst for learning never stopped. I added Kathak to my foundations (graduating in 2021) and explored the worlds of Argentine Tango, Belly Dance, Contemporary and Afro-Modern. Whether it was leading junior teams to 1st place victories at the Tampa India Festival (with NachBollywoodStyle) or teaching high-energy Zumba, my goal has always been the same: to move with purpose.
In 2020, I opened Falling Stars Dance Studio. My mission is simple: to preserve our rich Indian culture, share the magic of movement with the next generation, and forever pay it forward.
People and culture
Our people are what make us unique. Rather than outsourcing our construction engineers from questionable outsourcing establishments, we provide them with an environment that supports professional growth.
We are strong believers in giving our employees a voice. Our teams are put together with the help of our resident psychologist to ensure maximum productivity and engagement.
